Synopsis

Tokyo, 1923. 24-year-old Fuki, who works as a maid at a mansion, is reunited with Yugo, a son of the Tachibana family, who has returned to Tokyo to attend Teikoku Daiichi High School. Fuki, whose engagement to Yugo has already been broken off, accepts his proposal of marriage, as he has been ordered to “look for a wife”. In an era when parental permission was required for marriage, a newlywed life begins between a spirited maid and an elite student with a difference in status and age.
